Where can you go tonight that is guaranteed to have an epic love story, a six-fingered assassin, a pirate with a nasty rap sheet, giants, a swamp full of fire, and R.O.U.S. (Rodents of Unusual Size)? To Key West’s own The Tropic Movie Theatre, of course! Tonight, for one showing only, catch the classic and beloved film The Princess Bride, showing at 7:00pm sharp. Tickets are a reasonable $10, while kids get in for only $6. This hilarious and iconic film is fun for both adults and kids, so bring the family and get there early to stake out the good seats! And if you’re interested, we’d love a slice of frozen key lime pie with our popcorn…you can pick one up for us at the concession stand.
See you tonight!
The Tropic is located at 416 Eaton St. For more information, call 877-761-3456.
Key West’s favorite vegetarian & vegan-friendly restaurant, The Café, will host Local Art Night tonight from 6:00 – 10:00pm. Enjoy live music as you peruse work from local art stars such as Key West Honest Works Pottery, Marlene Konig, Clara Dara, Ginger Green and more. This fun & fascinating event is only for one night, so don’t miss it! Head down to The Café a 509 Southard Street..and by the way, we guarantee a big, happy post-feast smile after gorging on any of The Café’s fabulous dishes, so maybe make your visit tonight the first of many more. Truffled french fries, warm beet salad and wok-fired bok choy, anyone? We’ll take seconds.
