A celebration of the culture, entertainment and food of the island nation just 90 miles from Key West is to take place Saturday, April 13, at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden at 5210 College Road. Guests can book rooms at Parrot Key Resort during the event by calling (855) 327-7200.
The lavish Cuban-style dance party called Hot Havana Nights is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the garden’s pondside plaza. Attendees can dance under the stars to the sounds of Frank Diaz and Havana Soul while enjoying light Cuban cuisine, a cash bar and a cigar lounge. A silent auction rounds out the attractions.
Those who purchase VIP tickets also are invited to a 5:30 p.m. Cuban dinner with an open bar prior to the main party. Guests are to be entertained by a private Tropicana show in the courtyard starring Miguel Cruz & Tropical Dreams featuring Dayami.
About The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden
The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden is an arboretum, garden, wildlife refuge and educational center that showcases the flora and fauna native to South Florida, Cuba and the Caribbean.

VIP tickets for the Hot Havana Nights gala and Cuban dinner are $90 per person in advance ($81 for botanical garden members). General admission tickets for the gala are $30 per person in advance ($27 for garden members) or $35 at the door. Reservations are encouraged since the event usually sells out.
